Precautions

Caution is necessary when patients receiving systemic corticosteroid therapy switch to topical corticosteroids, as it may lead to decreased adrenal function. Moreover, patients with asthma or those requiring long-term systemic corticosteroid therapy may experience worsening symptoms if they abruptly reduce the medication. Special caution should be taken to avoid varicella or measles during treatment, and appropriate immunoglobulin or antiviral treatment should be administered in case of infection. When used with other steroid drugs, the risk of adrenal suppression may increase, so it should be administered with care. This medication should not be used in patients with allergies to the components or recent injuries to the nasal mucosa. Patients with active tuberculosis or infections, and those transitioning from systemic steroids should particularly use it with caution. After use, side effects such as nasal irritation, dryness, coughing, and nosebleeds may appear; in rare cases, increased ocular pressure or skin allergic reactions may occur. The effects of this medication may take a few days to show; if symptoms do not improve after 3 weeks, consult a physician. It's advisable to start using this medication before exposure to allergens, and patients on long-term use should regularly check their nasal mucosa. Do not abruptly stop the medication and always follow the physician's instructions, and do not use more frequently than prescribed. Regular use in the morning and evening is important. During pregnancy, use should be based on an assessment of risks versus benefits to the fetus, and caution should be especially exercised while breastfeeding. Children must use the exact dosage as prescribed by a physician, and their growth should be regularly monitored. Safety and efficacy have not been established for children under 6 years of age. To maintain cleanliness of the container, open the protective cap, wash it with warm water, and dry it completely before use.
