How to apply drops

Adult eye dose

Instill 1 drop of 0.1% or 0.3% formulation 5 to 6 times a day. Adjust as necessary according to symptoms. Generally, the 0.1% formulation is administered, and if the effect is insufficient in severe cases, the 0.3% formulation is used.

Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with allergic reactions to the constituents or protein-based medications. It may cause symptoms such as itching, irritation, redness, conjunctivitis, and corneal disorders in the eyes, and rarely, discharge or eye pain may occur. If any of these symptoms develop, use should be discontinued immediately and appropriate treatment should be sought. Additionally, hypersensitivity reactions such as eyelid inflammation or dermatitis may occur, so use should also be stopped if such symptoms are present. Caution is necessary as side effects may occur more frequently when this medication is used in conjunction with steroids, dry eye treatments, antimicrobial agents, glaucoma medications, antihistamines, cataract medications, and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. This medication should not be used simultaneously with other eye drops; it should be administered at least 30 minutes after the use of other eye drops. This medication is intended solely for eye instillation. Care must be taken to avoid contamination by not allowing the tip of the container to touch the eyelids or eyelashes. Contaminated or cloudy solutions should not be used. The included preservative, benzalkonium chloride, can adsorb onto soft contact lenses, so it should not be used while wearing lenses, and lenses should be inserted at least 15 minutes after instillation. Single-use products should be used within 12 hours after opening and should only be used once. Additionally, 1-2 drops should be discarded upon first use. Store out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, and in a cool place. To maintain quality, do not transfer to another container and avoid sharing.
