Caution is advised when using this medication in young children, especially infants and toddlers, and it is recommended to administer it in the minimum necessary amounts. Elderly patients may have reduced kidney function, which can lead to increased concentration of this medication and more frequent adverse reactions, so dosage and administration intervals should be adjusted and used cautiously. Severe allergic reactions such as anaphylactic shock can occur infrequently while using this medication, so use should be discontinued immediately and medical attention sought if symptoms such as hypotension, difficulty breathing, and chest tightness occur. Severe skin diseases such as Stevens-Johnson syndrome or toxic epidermal necrolysis may occur rarely, and careful observation of the skin condition is necessary. Neurological symptoms may include altered consciousness, confusion, hallucinations, seizures, drowsiness, and anxiety, especially in the elderly or patients with kidney impairment. Kidney function can be affected, so if there are abnormalities in urination or symptoms of hematuria or proteinuria occur, it is essential to inform a doctor immediately. Blood-related issues such as leukopenia, anemia, and bleeding can occur, making regular blood tests necessary. Symptoms of liver dysfunction such as jaundice or hepatitis should be monitored regularly to check liver health. Gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal pain may occur, and if symptoms are severe, the medication should be discontinued and medical personnel consulted. Adequate fluid intake should be maintained to prevent dehydration and reduce the burden on the kidneys while taking this medication. To enhance treatment effectiveness, it is important to start taking this medication as soon as possible from the onset of symptoms.
