Liver function should be closely monitored as liver function abnormalities may occur, and the medication should be discontinued immediately if abnormalities are found. Since it may also affect kidney function, renal-related values should be checked regularly. Blood tests may be required as blood-related adverse reactions such as leukopenia or thrombocytopenia may occur. Heart rhythm may become irregular or symptoms of excessively low blood pressure may appear, so heart conditions should be monitored carefully. This medicine may enhance the effect when used with other antihypertensive agents, so all medications being taken must be disclosed. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should not take this medication, and nursing mothers should also avoid it if possible. Elderly patients should start with a low dose and be administered carefully to prevent excessive blood pressure reduction. Discontinuing the medication suddenly may worsen symptoms, so the dosage should be gradually reduced under a physician's direction. In the event of overdose, blood pressure may drop excessively, so medical personnel should be notified immediately, and appropriate treatment should be received. This medicine must be used strictly according to a doctor's prescription and instructions, and should not be stopped or altered arbitrarily.
