This medication is used to relieve fever and pain caused by colds, headaches, neuralgia, muscle pain, menstrual pain, and pain from sprains. It is also effective for toothache, joint pain, and rheumatic pain. Overall, it is used to improve various types of pain and inflammation.
Children under 12 years of age should take the recommended dose once every 4-6 hours as needed. This medication should only be taken for the shortest duration necessary at the minimum effective dose, not exceeding 5 doses per day (75 mg/kg).
This medication may put a strain on the liver, so those who regularly consume more than three cups of alcohol daily must consult with a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. The artificial sweetener aspartame included in this medication breaks down into phenylalanine in the body, so individuals with the hereditary condition phenylketonuria should not take this medication. The acetaminophen component should not exceed a maximum of 4,000 mg per day, and it should not be taken with other medications that contain acetaminophen. If unusual symptoms such as skin rash, itching, or red spots appear during use, discontinue the medication immediately and consult a doctor. Those with allergies to this medication, peptic ulcer, severe liver or kidney dysfunction, and heart failure should not take it. It is advisable for individuals taking aspirin, certain antidepressants, barbiturates, or those who frequently consume alcohol not to take this medication. Those with genetic problems such as lactose intolerance or galactose intolerance should avoid taking this medication. Patients with liver or kidney dysfunction, bleeding tendencies, elderly individuals, and women who are pregnant or breastfeeding must consult a medical professional before taking this medication. If symptoms such as difficulty breathing, facial flushing, severe rashes, vomiting, or abdominal pain occur during use, stop taking medication immediately and consult health personnel. Long-term use requires regular blood tests and liver function tests, and if abnormalities are found, the dosage should be reduced or discontinued. Children and the elderly should use the minimum effective dose and be carefully monitored after administration. Avoid taking this medication with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, and consult health personnel if pain or fever symptoms persist for a long time. In case of overdose, even if there are no symptoms, go to the hospital immediately for liver protection treatment. Finally, this medication should be stored out of reach of children and kept in its original container to maintain quality.
