Precautions
This medicine should not be used in patients who have allergies to this medicine or its components, or have a history of allergies. Additionally, it has not been confirmed to be safe for children, so it should not be administered to them. Careful use is required in patients at risk of bleeding, as bleeding may become more severe. In elderly patients, caution is necessary due to possible decreased body function. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, as well as breastfeeding women, should consult a physician before use due to potential risks. If allergic symptoms such as skin rash or itching occur during use, the treatment should be discontinued immediately and appropriate care sought. Gastrointestinal side effects may include stomach discomfort, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, loss of appetite, constipation, and diarrhea; if symptoms are severe, inform your doctor. Liver function test values may temporarily increase, so regular testing may be required. Symptoms of blood abnormalities, such as rapid heartbeat, tendency to bleed, and thrombocytopenia, may occur and should be carefully monitored. Neurological symptoms such as headache, dizziness, drowsiness, numbness in hands and feet, and tremors may occur rarely. Various other side effects have also been reported, such as arthralgia, menstrual irregularities, fever, facial paralysis, or edema, so consult medical personnel if any unusual symptoms arise. This medicine is not intended for the rapid relief of acute attacks or symptoms, and patients should be adequately informed of this. During the use of this medicine, if a severe attack occurs in asthma patients, bronchodilators or steroids may need to be used additionally. Patients on long-term steroid treatment should taper off the steroid dosage gradually with this medicine, and be cautious as symptoms may worsen if treatment is stopped suddenly. If no effect is observed, do not continue use for a prolonged period. The risk of bleeding may increase when used with other platelet function inhibitors or anticoagulants, so dose adjustment and monitoring are necessary. The safety of use during pregnancy is uncertain, and it should only be used when the therapeutic benefits are judged to outweigh the risks. Breastfeeding women should avoid high doses of this medicine. Children are not used due to lack of safety confirmation. Caution should be exercised in elderly patients due to decreased bodily function. This medicine should be stored out of reach of children, and care should be taken as transferring to another container may lead to quality issues.
