Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals allergic to this medication or its ingredients. It is also advisable not to take this medication if you have ulcers in the stomach or duodenum. Additionally, this medication should not be used by infants under 2 years of age. Pregnant women or women who may become pregnant should consult a doctor before taking this medication. Nursing mothers should also use this medication cautiously as it can be transmitted to the baby through breast milk. This medication contains a pigment called Yellow No. 5, and caution is needed if there is an allergy or hypersensitivity to this ingredient. While taking this medication, gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, mouth inflammation, heartburn, and diarrhea may occur. Rarely, allergic reactions such as hives, itching, rash, headache, tinnitus, or bronchospasm may occur. Rapid heartbeat or increased blood pressure may occur, and very rarely, severe allergic reactions such as anaphylaxis may appear. When taking this medication, it is advisable to take it at least 2 hours apart from antibiotics, as it may reduce the antibiotic's effectiveness. Furthermore, other medications should not be mixed with this medication solution. This medication should be kept out of the reach of children and stored in its original container to maintain the quality of the medication. If used as an inhalant, individuals allergic to this medication or its ingredients should not take it. Patients with bronchial asthma or respiratory issues should consult a healthcare professional before using this medication, and if any adverse reactions occur, use should be discontinued immediately. Inhalation may lead to a light sulfur smell or symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, or loss of appetite. Rarely, symptoms such as blood-tinged sputum, chills, fever, drowsiness, or chest tightness may occur, so careful observation is needed. Inhalation may increase bronchial secretions, and if sputum does not naturally emerge, appropriate methods should be used to remove it. When using antibiotics together, do not mix them; administer separately instead. After using the inhalant, the mask may feel uncomfortable against the face, but it can be easily removed with water. Older adults may have reduced bodily functions, so they should monitor their condition closely while taking the medication. The inhalant container must be thoroughly washed after use, and caution is required as prolonged contact with the solution may damage the components.
