This medication is primarily used to reduce fever, alleviate tension through its sedative effect, and assist in the expulsion of phlegm through its expectorant action. It is also used to relieve symptoms of dry mouth.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Take 0.70-2.11 grams three times a day before meals or between meals. Adjust according to age and symptoms. When used for compounding, the dosage should be reduced appropriately.

Precautions

This medication contains lactose. Therefore, individuals with genetic issues that prevent the breakdown of lactose should not take this medication. For example, individuals with conditions such as galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption may experience adverse health effects from using this medication. Additionally, this medication is very sensitive to moisture. After use, the lid must be tightly closed and sealed to maintain the medication's effectiveness and prevent deterioration.
