This medication is used to relieve various symptoms of the common cold, including runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, cough, sore throat, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain. It effectively reduces various discomforts caused by the cold to aid in quick recovery.

How to take

Adult dose

For individuals aged 15 years or older and adults, take 30ml three times a day, 30 minutes after meals.

Precautions

This medicine can put a strain on the liver, so people who consume more than three drinks of alcohol daily should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. As it contains acetaminophen, serious allergic skin reactions may occur rarely, so if you experience any skin rash or abnormal symptoms, discontinue use immediately. Do not exceed the maximum daily dose of 4,000mg of acetaminophen contained in this medication, and do not take it with other acetaminophen-containing medicines. People with allergies to this medicine or its ingredients, those who have previously triggered asthma, infants under three months old, and those taking or have recently discontinued certain antidepressants or psychiatric medications should not take this medication. It is advisable not to take cough suppressants, other cold medications, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines concurrently while taking this medication. Those allergic to caramel should take this medication with caution. Children who have had or are suspected to have chickenpox or influenza, those with allergic constitution, previously had drug allergies, have major organ diseases such as liver or kidney issues, and women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should consult a professional before taking this medication. If any abnormal symptoms such as rash, itching, vomiting, dizziness, or difficulty breathing occur after taking this medication, discontinue usage immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Generally, children under 2 years old should not use this medication, and if necessary, they should be examined by a doctor. Follow the prescribed dosage and method of administration, avoid prolonged use, and do not consume alcohol while taking this medication. As drowsiness may occur, avoid driving or operating machinery, and exercise caution as it may affect liver metabolism when taken with specific medications. Taking this medication with certain antibiotics may rarely result in serious metabolic disturbances, so follow professional guidelines in such cases.

Serious side effects

Anaphylaxis (severe allergic reactions) such as hives, severe swelling (edema), chest tightness, difficulty breathing, cold sweat, pallor, severe rashes with high fever, blisters, sloughing skin, oral/ocular mucosal pain (Stevens-Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis), asthma, liver dysfunction (general malaise, jaundice), dyspnea due to interstitial pneumonia, fever, and severe neurological symptoms.

Mild side effects

Mild symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, constipation, difficulty urinating, persistent or severe thirst, dizziness, anxiety, trembling, insomnia, high-anion-gap metabolic acidosis (HAGMA), etc. may occur.
