Efficacy & effects

Increases cardiac output for short-term treatment of heart failure (after heart disease or heart surgery).

View approved original text

This medication is used to temporarily increase cardiac output in patients with heart failure who have weakened cardiac contractility due to heart disease or post-heart surgery. It helps the heart pump blood more efficiently, ensuring sufficient blood supply to the entire body. This helps alleviate symptoms of heart failure and contributes to the improvement of cardiac function.
