Precautions

This medication should not be taken by those who are allergic to this medication or its components. People with ulcers in the stomach or duodenum should also not take this medication. Children under 2 years old should not take this medication, nor should those with genetic diseases that prevent lactose digestion. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should only use this medication when absolutely necessary since there is insufficient safety research regarding its use in pregnant women. Breastfeeding women should also use this medication cautiously as it is uncertain whether it passes into breast milk. Symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, oral inflammation, heartburn, or diarrhea can occur during use, so caution should be exercised. If allergic reactions such as hives, itching, rash, headache, tinnitus, or bronchospasm occur, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a physician. In rare cases, increased heart rate or elevated blood pressure may occur, and severe allergic reactions such as anaphylaxis can occur. If any symptoms such as difficulty in breathing occur, discontinue use immediately and consult with a healthcare provider. This medication may reduce the effectiveness of certain antibiotics when taken together, so it is advisable to space the intake by at least 2 hours. Do not mix this medication in a solution with other drugs. Store in a safe place out of reach of children, and it is important to keep it in its original container to maintain the quality and safety of the medication. For inhalation products, those with asthma or poor respiratory function must consult a physician before use. Pregnant and breastfeeding women, the elderly, and children need to exercise extra caution when using this medication. Inhalation may cause light-headedness, nausea, vomiting, appetite loss, and in rare cases, symptoms such as blood-stained sputum, chills, fever, drowsiness, or chest tightness may occur. Increased bronchial secretions may occur, so if expectoration does not happen naturally, appropriate medical intervention should be sought. Inhalation medication should not be used in conjunction with antibiotics, nor should it be used as an injection or eye drop. After inhalation, a mask may stick to the face, but it can be easily removed by washing with clean water. Elderly patients may have decreased physiological function, so they should be monitored closely and used cautiously. Inhalers should be cleaned immediately after use, and care should be taken to avoid prolonged contact with the solution. Combining this medication with other specific drugs may cause precipitation or discoloration, so mixing should be avoided. When administering via nebulizer, it is recommended to dilute to prevent the drug concentration from becoming too high.
