This medication is mainly used in respiratory diseases such as acute or chronic bronchitis, bronchial asthma, laryngitis, sinusitis, and cystic fibrosis, where expectoration is difficult. It alleviates symptoms of expectoration difficulty caused by these conditions, improving breathing comfort.

How to take

Adult dose

For acute conditions, take 200 mg once, 3 times a day with a small amount of water before meals. For chronic conditions, take 200 mg once, 2 times a day with a small amount of water before meals.

Child dose

For acute conditions, for ages 6 to 14, take 200 mg once, 2 times a day with a small amount of water before meals. For chronic conditions, for ages 6 to 14, take 100 mg once, 3 times a day with a small amount of water before meals.

Precautions

It is safer for individuals who have had allergic reactions to avoid taking this medication. People with ulcers in the stomach or duodenum should also avoid this medication. Children under 2 years of age should not use this medication. Those with a genetic condition that causes lactose intolerance should not take this medication.
