Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals with allergic reactions to this medication or its components. Patients with ulcers in the stomach or duodenum should avoid this medication as it may worsen symptoms. It is safer for children under 2 years of age not to take this medication. This medication contains lactose, so individuals with genetic disorders that prevent lactose digestion should not take it. Pregnant women or women who may become pregnant must consult a doctor before taking this medication and should only take it when absolutely necessary. Women who are breastfeeding should also consult a professional before taking this medication, as it is not confirmed whether it passes into breast milk. During treatment, gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, oral inflammation, heartburn, and diarrhea may occur, so caution is advised. Rarely, symptoms like hives, itching, rash, headache, tinnitus, or bronchospasm may occur; if unusual symptoms appear, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a professional. Severe side effects such as respiratory distress are rarely reported, so if breathing problems occur, inform medical staff immediately. This medication may decrease the effectiveness of certain antibiotics when taken together, so maintain at least a 2-hour interval between the two medications. Avoid mixing other medications into this medication's solution, as it may reduce its efficacy. Store in a safe place out of reach of children, and keeping it in its original container is important for maintaining the quality of the medication. The inhalation form of this medication should be discussed with a professional before use in patients with bronchial asthma or respiratory issues. There may be a light sulfur smell during inhalation, and symptoms such as occasional nausea, vomiting, or loss of appetite may occur. After inhalation, bronchial secretions may increase, so appropriate measures should be taken if expectoration is difficult. When used with antibiotics, it is better to administer them separately, and it should not be used in injection or eye drop forms. After using an inhaler, the mask can be easily cleaned by washing it with water. Elderly patients may have reduced physical function, so caution is necessary when using this medication. Residual solution left in the nebulizer can damage metal parts, so it is important to clean the device thoroughly after use. This medication and certain antibiotics may cause precipitation or discoloration when mixed, so it is better not to use them together. During nebulization, care should be taken not to exceed appropriate drug concentrations, and dilution may be safe if needed.
