This medication has an expectorant action that helps to thin mucus in the airways for easier expulsion and a cardiotonic action that increases the contraction power of the heart to improve heart function. Therefore, it is used to relieve symptoms of coughing or excessive phlegm that may cause difficulty in breathing, and to improve symptoms due to decreased heart function.
Dosage and Administration
Adult dosage
Take 1.05-3.15 grams three times a day before meals or between meals. Adjust according to age and symptoms.
Precautions
This medication contains lactose. Therefore, patients with genetic reasons for lactose intolerance such as galactose intolerance or Lapp lactase deficiency, and those with glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take this medication as it may cause health issues. Additionally, this medication is highly sensitive to moisture, so it should be sealed and stored properly after use to prevent air from entering.
