Adult dose

Take 0.37 to 0.91 g three times daily, before meals or between meals. Adjust dosage based on age and symptoms, and if used for preparation purposes, reduce the amount appropriately.

This medication contains lactose, therefore individuals with certain genetic disorders who cannot digest lactose should not use it. People with high blood pressure, elderly individuals, individuals with heart or kidney issues, those experiencing swelling, and anyone currently receiving medical treatment should consult a professional before taking this medication. If you experience decreased urine output, facial or limb swelling, heavy eyelids, stiffness in the hands, increased blood pressure, or headaches while taking this medication, you must stop taking it immediately and consult a specialist. Additionally, prolonged use of this medication may lead to side effects such as hypokalemia, which is a decrease in blood potassium levels, increased blood pressure, and edema (fluid retention), so regular blood tests should be conducted to monitor your condition. Symptoms such as muscle weakness, limb spasms, and paralysis may occur due to hypokalemia, so if these symptoms arise, you must stop taking the medication immediately and seek medical advice. During the course of this medication, caution should be taken to not take other medications containing potassium, medications with licorice ingredients, or certain diuretics, as the risk of side effects may increase. Lastly, this medication is very sensitive to moisture, so it should be stored in a tightly sealed container after use to prevent moisture ingress.
