Adult dose

Typically, adults take 1 packet (single dose) 3 times daily before meals or between meals.

Patients with excessive and watery phlegm should also consult a specialist before taking this medication. If symptoms such as decreased urine output, facial or extremity swelling, eyelid heaviness, hand stiffness, increased blood pressure, or headache occur during treatment with this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare provider. Moreover, if symptoms such as muscle weakness, limb cramps, or paralysis occur, stop taking the medication and seek medical advice. If symptoms like fever, cough, or difficulty breathing occur, the possibility of interstitial pneumonia needs to be considered; therefore, stop use immediately and seek an evaluation. If abnormalities in liver function, jaundice, skin rash, hives, loss of appetite, or abdominal discomfort occur, discontinue use and consult a healthcare provider. When using this medication for a cough with persistent phlegm, if symptoms do not improve after one week, or for other conditions, if symptoms do not improve after one month, stop use and consult a specialist. This medication should be used with caution when combined with potassium-containing drugs, medications containing licorice, or certain diuretics, as they may lead to hypokalemia or muscle abnormalities. When taking other herbal medicines, ensure that there is no overlap in ingredients. When storing, keep the medication out of direct sunlight, store in a cool and dry place, and ensure it is sealed after use.
