This product is used for chronic cough with phlegm and cough accompanied by dyspnea.

How to take

Adult dose

Typically, adults take 3 grams three times a day before meals or between meals.

Precautions

This medication contains lactose; therefore, individuals with lactose intolerance, lactose enzyme deficiency, genetic issues like glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take it. Patients with hypertension, elderly individuals, those with heart or kidney function issues, those with edema, individuals taking other medications, pregnant women or those who may become pregnant, and individuals with weak stomachs should consult with a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If swelling of the face or extremities, increased blood pressure, headache, muscle weakness, or cramps occur during use, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a professional. Additionally, if symptoms such as loss of appetite, stomach discomfort, nausea, diarrhea, skin rash or hives occur, stop the medication and seek counsel. If symptoms do not improve after taking this medication for about a month, it is advisable to consult a doctor or pharmacist.
