This medication is used to alleviate symptoms and treat infections associated with purulent diseases characterized by redness (hyperemia), swelling, firm nodules, and pain, which are conditions accompanied by inflammation and infection.

How to take

Adult dose

The usual adult dose is 2 tablets taken three times a day before meals or in between meals.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by patients who exhibit not only local symptoms such as redness, swelling, and pain, but also systemic symptoms like headache, chills, and fever. Additionally, patients with abscesses without fever or chronic boils should also refrain from taking this medication. This medication contains lactose, so patients with a genetic inability to digest lactose should avoid using it. Patients with hypertension, heart or kidney problems, and those with edema must consult a physician or pharmacist before taking this medication. Patients currently taking other medications or undergoing treatment, elderly patients, and women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should also consult a healthcare professional before use. Patients and children who have previously experienced skin rashes or itching from medication should be cautious as the safety of this drug has not been fully established. If symptoms such as decreased urination, swelling of the face or limbs, drooping eyelids, stiffness in the hands, increased blood pressure, or headaches occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Additionally, if abnormal symptoms such as muscle weakness, limb cramps, skin rashes, or gastrointestinal discomfort arise, stop taking it and consult a healthcare professional. If symptoms do not improve after 5-6 days of taking this medication or if they worsen, discontinue use and seek advice. In principle, this medication should not be taken for an extended period; if prolonged use is necessary, consult a healthcare professional. Adhere strictly to the prescribed dosage and administration, and take care when using it with other medications containing potassium or licorice as it may cause muscle issues due to hyperaldosteronism or hypokalemia. When taking it with other herbal medicines, check for overlapping ingredients. This medication should be stored away from direct sunlight, in a cool and dry place, and the container must be tightly sealed after use. Store it in a safe place out of reach of children, and keeping it in its original container helps maintain the quality of the medication and prevent misuse.
