Dosage

Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area once or twice a day.

Precautions

This medication should not be used on areas with skin infections caused by bacteria or viruses. Patients with allergies or hypersensitivity to this medication or its components should avoid its use. Using this medication in areas with perforated eardrums or eczematous otitis externa may delay healing and increase the risk of infection. It is advisable not to use this medication on ulcerated areas or those with severe burns or frostbite. Patients with perioral dermatitis, common acne, or rosacea should also avoid its use. It is safe not to use this medication in the early stages of skin inflammation. This medication should not be applied to the areas around the eyes. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, as well as nursing mothers, should use this medication with caution. Caution is also advised when using this medication in infants and children, and supervision by a guardian is necessary. If any abnormal symptoms such as skin infection, irritation, itching, rash, or redness occur while using this medication, use should be immediately discontinued. Long-term use may lead to various skin side effects, including skin dryness, acne, skin atrophy, and pigmentation changes. In particular, long-term or widespread use may cause ocular side effects such as pituitary or adrenal suppression, glaucoma, and cataracts, so caution is required. It is essential to adhere to the prescribed dosage and frequency during use, and it is advisable to discontinue use as soon as symptoms improve and switch to another medication without corticosteroids. The treatment period should be limited to within 7 days for safety. When used in conjunction with warfarin, this medication may enhance its anticoagulant effect, thus patients taking warfarin should have their condition monitored through blood tests according to medical advice. This medication should not be used within the first three months of pregnancy, and if necessary during pregnancy or lactation, it should be decided after consulting with a physician. Caution is necessary when using this medication in children for extended periods or with occlusive bandaging, as it may cause growth retardation. Elderly patients should start at the lowest dose considering any impairments of liver, kidney, and heart function, as well as other diseases and medications they may be taking. This medication should not be used directly in the eyes and is not for ophthalmic use. When storing, keep it out of reach of children, avoid direct sunlight, and store it in a cool, dry place. Additionally, for quality maintenance, it is best not to transfer it to another container.
