This medication is primarily used for pediatric asthma and bronchial asthma.

How to take

Adult dose

For average adults: 1 dose 5.0g, taken 3 times a day before or between meals.

Child dose

For ages 7-14 years: 1 dose 3.33g, for ages 4-6 years: 1 dose 2.5g, for ages 2-3 years: 1 dose 1.67g, taken 3 times a day before or between meals.

Precautions

This medication contains lactose, so individuals with genetic conditions that impair lactose digestion should not take it. People who are severely weakened or recovering from illness, patients with hypertension, elderly individuals, and those with heart or kidney issues should consult a specialist before taking this medication. Individuals who have previously experienced skin rashes or itching due to medication or who are taking other medications should also consult a specialist. Women who are pregnant or might become pregnant, individuals who frequently experience diarrhea or loose stools, and those with weak stomachs should exercise caution. If symptoms such as swelling of the face or limbs, increased blood pressure, muscle weakness or cramps, skin rashes, indigestion, urinary problems, insomnia, excessive sweating, heart palpitations, or generalized weakness occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. If symptoms do not improve after taking the medication for more than one month, inform a specialist. Extra care is needed when taking this medication with other drugs, and the prescribed dosage and administration must be strictly followed. It is important to consult a specialist if taking this medication for an extended period. When administering to children, caregivers must manage and supervise closely. This medication should be stored in a cool place, away from direct sunlight and moisture, and out of reach of children. Storing the medication in a different container than its original may decrease quality or risk misuse, so it must be kept in its original container.
