This medication is used for chronic inflammatory conditions such as sinusitis, chronic rhinitis, chronic tonsillitis, and for the treatment of acne.
Generally, adults take 5.0 grams three times a day before or between meals.
This medicine contains lactose, so individuals with genetic conditions such as galactose intolerance, lactose deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take it. People with hypertension, heart or kidney issues, those with edema, elderly patients, patients receiving other treatments, and individuals with weak stomachs or frequent diarrhea should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. It is also important for individuals with decreased appetite, nausea, vomiting symptoms, pregnant women, or women who may become pregnant to consult an expert before taking this medication. If any abnormal symptoms occur during the use of this medication, it should be discontinued immediately and an expert should be consulted. For instance, if urine output decreases or if there is swelling in the face and extremities, increased blood pressure, or headaches, caution should be exercised as it may indicate hyperaldosteronism.
