Relief of cough and perspiration symptoms
This medication helps relieve cough and promotes perspiration. It is typically used for suppressing cough (antitussive) and enhancing sweating (diaphoretic).
Adults should take 0.56-1.11 grams three times a day between meals.
This medicine contains lactose and should not be used by patients with certain genetic disorders that prevent lactose digestion. Patients with severe hypertension, heart diseases, severely impaired kidney function, urination problems, very weak stomach, symptoms of decreased appetite or nausea, vomiting, post-illness weakness or extreme fatigue, excessive sweating, excessively active thyroid function, and elderly or diabetic patients must consult a professional before taking this medication. If symptoms such as insomnia, excessive sweating, rapid heart rate, frequent urination, palpitations, general weakness, or mental agitation, as well as digestive symptoms such as decreased appetite, stomach discomfort, nausea, vomiting, and urinary symptoms like urination disorders occur during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. It is also important to consult a professional if using this medication for an extended period. Moreover, care should be taken when using this medication in conjunction with other drugs containing ephedra or ephedrine, certain thyroid medications, catecholamine agents, or xanthine medications, as this may lead to side effects such as insomnia, excessive sweating, or rapid heart rate, requiring careful adjustment of dosages. When storing, pay attention to temperature, sunlight, and humidity; keep out of reach of children. This medication should be stored tightly closed in its original container, as transferring it to another container may lead to misuse or degradation of quality.
