Patients receiving medical treatment or taking other medications, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and patients experiencing persistent diarrhea or bloody stools accompanied by fever should use this drug cautiously. Allergic reactions may cause skin rashes, and mild diarrhea or itching may temporarily occur. When there is vitamin B12 deficiency, other vitamin deficiencies may also be present; therefore, multiple vitamin deficiencies must be considered, and the presence of vitamin B12 deficiency must be confirmed before administration. For patients with folate deficiency, care should be taken as blood-related side effects may occur with doses above a certain threshold. If anemia symptoms do not improve after administration, the possibility of folate metabolism disorders should be considered, and regular blood tests are essential. Long-term use for more than a week should be avoided, and if no effect is observed, it is advisable not to use it for more than a month. This drug may interact with certain antibiotics, methotrexate, and pyrimethamine, and chloramphenicol may reduce the effectiveness of this drug. Additionally, prolonged use of H2 receptor antagonists can lead to vitamin B12 deficiency, so caution is advised. Pregnant women should only use this drug if macrocytic anemia due to vitamin B12 deficiency is confirmed.
