Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, and nursing mothers, should not take this medication, and it should not be administered to newborns or infants under 2 months of age. Elderly patients may experience prolonged effects due to reduced kidney function, which may worsen side effects, so careful monitoring and dosage adjustments are necessary. This medication may cause inflammation or irritation at the injection site when administered intravenously, so caution is needed, especially when using injectable forms.
