Ultherapy is a non-invasive lifting treatment that uses microfocused ultrasound energy to create thermal coagulation points at targeted depths without incising the skin's surface.
While monitoring the inside of the skin in real time with ultrasound imaging, energy is delivered at depths of 1.5 mm, 3.0 mm, and 4.5 mm according to the skin structure and treatment area.
By creating thermal coagulation points at approximately 60–70°C in the target tissue, the treatment induces collagen denaturation and the production of new collagen. As collagen is produced and remodeled, gradual changes can be expected over several months.
The treatment is completed within 30–90 minutes, depending on the treatment area and number of lines.
