Before an Ultherapy Prime treatment, the physician personally reviews the results after measuring skin thickness, hydration, pigmentation, and elasticity to first determine whether the treatment is suitable.
In lifting treatments, the treatment depth—not the name of the device—is what determines the outcome. Because the thickness of the skin and fat layers varies by area, an incorrect assessment can result in a sunken-looking cheek.
Ultherapy Prime is performed while checking the skin layers in real time with ultrasound imaging. It can examine depths of up to 8 mm, making it possible to identify the appropriate treatment layer even when the skin and fat layers are thick.
You may receive the diagnostic assessment without proceeding further, and there is no requirement to schedule a treatment. Whether to proceed with the treatment and the treatment cost will be explained separately from the assessment.
