When I mentioned slight pain during the procedure, they provided additional anesthesia. That's how I became neutered, and it was psychologically unpleasant, which is a trap. As the anesthesia wore off, I felt a pulling sensation in my lower abdomen, but it was tolerable. I highly recommend it because of the doctor.
