I was really worried when the examination showed that surgery was necessary, but thankfully, the medical staff calmly explained the surgical process and how the pin fixation would be done, which helped me feel comfortable trusting them with her treatment. Since she is still quite young, she was very nervous about having surgery, so I was grateful that the medical staff took such thoughtful care of her. The surgery went well, and a pin was placed in her finger, so we are monitoring her recovery. As a parent, I was very anxious because it was such a sudden accident, but I felt reassured because they took such thorough care of her from the initial consultation through the surgery. I hope she continues to recover well as we keep monitoring her progress.

Overnight, acute hives and severe itching spread all over my body and face, so I urgently went to the emergency room at Geomdan Top Hospital. After a prompt examination by the medical staff, I received two injections containing an antihistamine and a steroid, followed by IV fluids. The intense itching and red welts that hadn’t improved even with medication quickly calmed down after the injections and IV treatment. I’m relieved that the dangerous systemic allergic reaction was brought under control so quickly in the middle of the night. If my symptoms get worse again by tomorrow, I plan to visit Internal Medicine for further evaluation and follow-up. Thankfully, it hasn’t flared up again today either, so I’m taking the prescribed medication faithfully.
