If you have a lot of arm fat, there is a higher chance of having a neurodegenerative disease...
They say the risk of developing brain diseases like Alzheimer's or Parkinson's is high!!!!
There is a reason to build up your forearm muscles...
Pick up the dumbbell right now!!! This is it..
But why is that so difficult... Ahahaha

According to a study published in Neurology, a large-scale study examining medical records of over 400,000 Britons found that people with abnormal fat accumulation in their arms are more likely to suffer from neurodegenerative diseases.
Researchers from Sichuan University in China conducted a longitudinal study over an average of 9 years on 412,691 individuals with an average age of 56. At the start of the study, the researchers measured participants' waist and hip circumference, grip strength, bone density, and body composition including fat and muscle mass. During the study period, neurodegenerative diseases developed in 8,224 people, primarily Alzheimer's disease, other forms of dementia, and Parkinson's disease.
According to the research findings, male participants with high abdominal fat levels experienced neurodegenerative diseases at a rate of 3.38 cases per 1,000 person-years, whereas those with low abdominal fat levels had a rate of 1.82 cases per 1,000 person-years. For female participants, the rate was 2.55 cases for high levels and 1.39 cases for low levels. Person-years represent the total number of people participating in the study multiplied by the amount of time each person was involved in the research.
After adjusting for other factors that can influence the incidence of diseases such as hypertension, smoking and drinking status, and diabetes, overall individuals with high abdominal fat levels were 13% more likely to develop these diseases compared to those with low abdominal fat levels.
In particular, people with a lot of fat in their arms were 18% more likely to develop diseases than those with less fat. People with strong muscles were 26% less likely to develop diseases than those with weak muscles.
Dr. Shishi Shi, the lead author of the study, emphasized that "the research results highlight that targeted interventions that reduce trunk and arm fat and promote healthy muscle development may be more effective in neurodegenerative protection than general weight control." She added, "Having too much fat in one area can penetrate the muscles, becoming toxic, leading to immune problems and inflammation, which can cause diseases."
Overweight and obese individuals are more likely to experience heart disease and stroke, which also increases the risk of diseases such as dementia and Parkinson's disease. A healthy heart is essential for supplying energy and oxygen to brain cells, but excessive weight can lead to the accumulation of fatty substances in blood vessels. Therefore, it is important to immediately manage these cardiovascular diseases to prevent or delay the onset of Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, or other degenerative disorders.
