I know that forests have healing effects.
Reducing the incidence of cardiovascular diseases...
When the heat subsides, I should often go hiking with the children.
When you're at home with the kids, do they just watch TV or fight with each other...
Taking care of my health and spending quality time with my family.. haha

( daejeon and Chungnam = News1 ) Reporter Park Chansu = The research team at Gangbuk Samsung Hospital has released a study showing that 'forest exercise reduces the absolute risk of developing cardiovascular disease by an average of 4.7%', attracting attention.
According to the Korea Forest Service's National Institute of Forest Science (Director Bae Jae-soo) on the 1st, a seminar for experts was held recently to understand the effects of forest healing from a medical perspective and to identify research directions.
At this seminar, the research team led by Jong-Young Lee from the Department of Cardiology at Gangbuk Samsung Medical Center presented the development and effects of an intensive cardiac rehabilitation program (ICR) based on forest walking exercise for middle-aged patients at high risk of cardiovascular disease.
The researchers stated, "Based on the exercise prescription guidelines of the American College of Sports Medicine, we analyzed the exercise intensity according to forest trail terrain and applied it to the program. As a result, forest exercise reduced the absolute risk of cardiovascular disease by an average of 4.7%."
Professor Lee Jong-young of the Cardiology Department at Gangbuk Samsung Medical Center stated, "This study confirmed that forest exercise can be safely used for the prevention and rehabilitation of cardiovascular diseases," and suggested, "To promote forest healing, it is necessary to establish a disease recovery and prevention networking system linking forest healing facilities and medical institutions, and to specialize programs based on clinical research."
Researcher Lee Yeon-hee from the Forest Human Services Research Division at the Korea Forest Research Institute said, "Accessibility is an important issue for the expansion of forest healing," and added, "We will strive to establish a customized supply system that meets the needs and characteristics of users, and identify potential demand linked to other fields to expand opportunities for forest healing use."
