I've tried Thermage too, but if I were spending my money again, I think I would choose Volneumer — Summary of pain and 1-month review
As someone who has received quite a few lifting laser treatments, I have honestly summarized my thoughts after getting Volneumer.
First, the pain. It is not a painless procedure.
I apply anesthetic ointment before the treatment, so I barely feel anything at first, but if the same area is treated repeatedly, a hot sensation comes up.
It isn't a throbbing, impactful pain like an ultrasound, but rather a feeling of the skin getting hot.
It might depend on which type of pain you can't tolerate more, but for me, it was much better than the throbbing pain from the heat. The immediate effect was better than I expected.
I usually thought that lifting procedures involve downtime and that the effects take time to show, but after receiving the treatment, I could feel my pores tightening and my skin tone becoming even on the same day.
It wasn't just visible to me; it was at a level that people around me could recognize as well.
After a month, my overall elasticity improved and my facial lines became smoother.
It’s hard to describe the feeling—rather than a trembling sensation when you touch your face. I think those who have experienced high-frequency treatments will understand this feeling.
It isn't a drastic change visible to the eye, but there is definitely a change that only you can notice.
Compared to Thermage, which is so painful that it feels like I'm just enduring it, Volneumer was relatively comfortable to receive, and I actually felt the effects were better.
There may be individual differences, but if I were paying for it myself, I think I would choose Volneumer instead of Thermage.
I’ve also summarized my own criteria for choosing between high frequency and ultrasound.
If you want a slimmer face and visible changes, ultrasound lifting is the right choice, but if you lack elasticity or have thin skin and are worried about sunken cheeks, radio frequency is suitable. Please use this as a reference only :)
Which do you think you would choose between Thermage and Volneumer? It would be great if you could also tell me why :)
