While raising children, I end up visiting the pediatric clinic very frequently... I would like to recommend the pediatric and adolescent medicine clinic that I almost visit every week with my babies.

This is Yonsei Friends Pediatric and Adolescent Clinic located in Nowon-gu.

I am raising a 4-year-old and a 2-year-old... As the kids attend daycare, they really catch various illnesses from everywhere...ㅠㅠ

When I catch various viruses like COVID-19, hand-foot-mouth disease, stomatitis, or enteritis, I immediately bring my two children here to the pediatrics clinic. ^^

Let me explain now why I always come here so diligently^^

 

Here, one male doctor provides medical care. It is located on the second floor of the building where Daiso is. As he is very kind, it is always crowded with people.

We are open for consultations only in the morning on Wednesdays, and we are closed on Sundays. Since we operate until 7 o'clock, working parents can also receive treatment at later times, which is quite convenient.

 

I have been visiting here since my babies were born. I always make reservations for early childhood checkups here and have their checkups regularly. They also administer vaccinations on schedule very well. When I explain my baby's condition in detail to the doctor, they listen carefully and provide detailed explanations about why the baby is having such a hard time.

When I asked how high the fever was and the reason for the swollen throat, you explained about the baby's condition, mentioning that the nose and throat are connected, and reassured me that you would prescribe treatment to help the baby recover quickly. I was very grateful for that.

Before entering the hospital, there is a chair where you can sit like this. If you look inside, there is a separate space where children can play inside. So, when children are inside while waiting, you can wait with more peace of mind. You can also read books inside and spend time with the children. The area is padded with soft mats, so the children won't get hurt.

 

And there is a space where blood pressure can be measured, and behind the blood pressure measurement area, there is a space to measure the baby's height and weight. For newborns, you can easily measure their height and weight by placing them there. On the side, there is a breastfeeding room, and for infants, they are advised to go inside for the baby's health and safety.

The most important thing is medical treatment.

Every time I go, they don't just prescribe the same medication; they try to prescribe a more effective medication based on the baby's condition.

If you have dermatitis or similar skin conditions, they will prescribe ointments or topical treatments, and if you have a stye, they won't just give oral medication but also prescribe eye drops, so please focus on helping the children recover well..^^

Even the babies find the doctor so kind that they automatically listen... I also received vitamin candies as a bonus... haha

And when the baby gets sick, the mom also gets sick, so I also get treated here together. Honestly, compared to other internal medicine clinics, I find that I recover just by getting prescriptions and taking medicine here.. haha

So, in reality, not only babies come here, but adults also occasionally come for treatment.
