I am a mother of two raising children.

As I raise children, I end up going to the pediatrician quite often. I would like to recommend the pediatrician/adolescent clinic that I go to with my children almost every week.

It's right in Nowon-gu Yonsei Friends Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine Department no see.

I'm raising a 4-year-old and a 2-year-old... While the kids go to daycare, they really... catch all kinds of diseases from here and there...ㅜㅜ

If you catch any kind of virus like coronavirus, hand, foot and mouth disease, stomatitis, or enteritis, I'll bring my two kids straight to the pediatrics clinic. ^^

I'll explain why I always come here so diligently from now on^^

 

Here, a male doctor provides treatment. It's located on the second floor of the building where Daiso is. As friendly as he is, it's always bustling with people.

On Wednesdays, we only have morning appointments, and we're closed on Sundays. Since we're open until 7 p.m., working parents can get appointments later, which is a plus.

 

I've been coming here since my babies were born. I schedule checkups here, and they're always there for me. They also make sure my baby gets their immunizations up to date. When I explain my baby's condition in detail to the doctor, he doesn't just take it lightly, but also provides a thorough explanation of why my baby is struggling.

When I asked how high my fever was and why my throat was swollen, the doctor told me about the baby's condition, which was connected to his nose and throat, and said he would prescribe medication to help him get better quickly, which reassured me so much.

Before entering the hospital, there are chairs like this where you can sit. If you look inside, there's a separate space for babies to play. So, if your babies are inside while you wait, you can feel more secure. You can read books to them and spend time with them. The mats are soft, so they won't hurt themselves.

 

And there's a space to measure blood pressure, and behind that, there's a space to measure your baby's height and weight. Newborns can be placed there for easy height and weight measurements. To the side is a breastfeeding room, so for newborns, they recommend placing them in there for their health and safety.

The most important thing is treatment.

Rather than prescribing the same medicine every time you visit, try to prescribe a more effective medicine based on your baby's condition.

If there is dermatitis, please prescribe ointment to apply, and if there is a stye, please prescribe eye drops as well as oral medication so that the children can get better. ^^

The kids also listened to the doctor automatically because he was so kind... and they even got some vitamin candies as a bonus... haha

And when the baby gets sick, the mother gets sick too, so I also come here to get treatment. Compared to other internal medicine clinics, I get better when I get a prescription here and take the medicine. Haha

So, in reality, not only children come here, but adults also often come here for treatment.
