I recommend Ihwa Sarang Dermatology Clinic in Dongjak-gu~~~

 

Well, it's very familiar to people who live in Dongjak-gu and Gwanak-gu.

It's a very famous dermatology clinic~ ^^

 

You have to walk for about 3 minutes from Sangdo Station towards Sangdo Tunnel~~~

 

I don't know the exact year it opened, but when I was in elementary school, I didn't know it was a hospital and just thought it was a famous skin specialty pharmacy, but one day I saw that it had become a skin specialty hospital.

Currently, the 3rd floor is operated as a skin care center, the 2nd floor as a skin specialty hospital, and the 1st floor as a pharmacy.

This building is a famous landmark located right in front of Sangdo Teodeul. In the past, the entire building was covered in ivy, so it was always green and impressive. Now that it's gone, I feel a bit sad.

It used to be a building like this~~ ^^ Full of ivy~~ Ah, it brings back memories~~

It's a really old hospital, so the inside of the building may have been remodeled in many ways, but the building itself is the same, and the exterior looks really old, as if they haven't even updated the signboard. It's similar to the image of Dol Dam Hospital, where the character of Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim works, in the popular drama these days.

In fact, my family has been coming here for almost 40 years whenever we have a skin problem.

For example

When I was young, I had strange spots on my legs. At first, I thought they were mosquito bites, so I just applied a water patch. However, the rash kept getting bigger and more painful, so I went to the local pharmacy or hospital to get treatment, but it didn't work.

The pain got so bad that I couldn't walk anymore, and my mom took me to Ihwa Pharmacy, where I got treated and was prescribed Ihwa Pharmacy's trademark medicine, Jogabiyak, and I got better. I remember her telling me the name of a very strange disease, but I forgot the name.

A few years ago, my mother suddenly started getting red spots all over her body. I thought it was nothing serious and just went to the local hospital. They said it was an allergy, but when it didn't go away, I ended up going to Ewha Love Dermatology, and they said it was chickenpox.

Today, I visited the dermatologist for the first time in a while to address one of my mother's chronic pains: itching and a raised sore on her buttocks. While the clinic is usually busy, perhaps because it's only open in the mornings on Saturdays, there seemed to be more than twice as many patients as usual.

 

Maybe because they only do Saturday morning treatments, it was bustling with people;;; It wasn't captured in the picture, but even in the L-shaped area in front, there were so many people that there weren't any chairs to sit on. The names of the patients who will be treated in each treatment room are displayed on the screen~~

Ewha Sarang Dermatology Clinic has 6 medical staff members and does not take reservations.

People who are visiting for the first time can choose a doctor at the reception desk and receive treatment. In the case of repeat patients like us, we tend to receive treatment from the same doctor we always see, but we can change to a different doctor depending on our personal preference.

After registering, the order of treatment will be displayed on the electronic board, so wait for your turn and when your name appears on the screen and an announcement is made in front of the examination room saying, "Please come in, patient number so-and-so," you can go in and receive treatment.

My mother is always receiving treatment from Dr. Kim Jin-hyung in Clinic 2, but the doctor isn't really that kind or anything... He's very business-like and secretly looks scary to me;;;

But my mother is always satisfied because she is given only the necessary questions and is given good treatment.

Anyway, the purpose of today's treatment was the itching all over my body, a mysterious wound on my buttocks (I wondered if it was a bedsore), and peeling skin on my feet. These were the three most important purposes.

First of all, the itchiness is due to dryness;;; and since nothing is sprouting or anything like that, I didn't apply any medicine, but just applied cream frequently and watched the progress a bit more.

I was actually most worried about the buttock wound, but it doesn't seem to be a bedsore...

 

 

It's so gross;;;; It's been months since something like a tick has been sitting there, falling off, and appearing again;;;

General consultations are also available. My mother asked if any of the medications she had previously been prescribed had been used around her eyes. She looked at the records and was told there weren't any. She wrote down the name of the medication and went back to the hospital to get another prescription.

Anyway~~ ^^ I hope I get better quickly after taking this medicine and applying it well~

Well, my family wasn't really interested in the procedure, so we only went to the hospital for general skin conditions. But these days, it's become famous for various procedures, so I think a lot of people are coming here~~

There is a skin care room on the 3rd floor, and when I looked at the hospital website, I saw that it is also famous for its various treatments.

 

There are many procedures that I'm interested in these days, such as botox, fillers, and lifting.
