Review of the procedure at JD Dermatology in Myeongdong that helped me get rid of chin acne scars

This is a review of JD Dermatology.

The dermatology clinic is located in Myeongdong, Jung-gu, Seoul.

There is one male director.

 

 

The reason I visited JD Dermatology was because of acne scars.

I used to get a lot of acne on my chin before and during my period.

Acne pigmentation kept building up on my chin, so it was red and dark.

The actual product was much, much more brown and reddish than this.

That's how much is covered by the tone-up sunscreen.

Due to not only acne but also excessive sebum buildup, I experienced recurring breakouts

The pigmentation on my chin has reached a state where it cannot be covered even with makeup, and

I felt the limitations of self-care, so I started looking into hospitals.

I looked into several dermatology clinics, but most of them recommended full-face treatments.

Actually, I also have the upper jaw and cheekbone areas.

I have a lot of pigmented areas, but honestly, I felt a bit hesitant about getting laser treatment on my whole face.

My jaw was the worst among them, so I wanted to take care of that first.

When I consulted at JD Dermatology, the director explained that it is possible to perform the procedure only on the jaw.

They did not recommend expensive procedures or an excessive number of laser shots, and only consulted on treatments suitable for my skin condition.

So I decided to get the procedure done at JD.

Since this is a chain store, it looked like there were quite a few regulars.

After getting a consultation, I understood why it's famous!

They easily explained the principle of the laser and told me exactly what effects would result from doing this.

Since it is my first time getting an acne treatment laser

Since it's my first time, they recommended the Ruby Laser, which is relatively gentle on the skin, so I wouldn't be too ambitious.

 

I had to wash my face before the procedure, and it was really nice that they even washed it for me.

After washing my face and disinfecting it, I applied anesthetic cream and received the laser treatment.

I received the low-dose 50-shot version exactly 3 times, just to try it out.

I took photos during the first and second sessions, but on the last day, perhaps because I received the third one, it wasn't very red. So I didn't take any photos that day.

They always applied a modeling pack after the procedure, so I liked that it felt like I was being well cared for right up to the finish.

Since it was my first laser treatment ever, I didn't want to get greedy and just tried a low-irritation laser on my jaw.

It didn't hurt, maybe because I applied numbing cream.

I didn't experience any side effects like scabbing or dermatitis after receiving the laser treatment.

 

The director said that the skin is usually irritated after laser treatment.

They explained that small bumps might appear, so I shouldn't be alarmed and should apply ointment.

Fortunately, I didn't get any millet bumps.

 

I think I made the right decision getting 3 sessions. It didn't start out dramatic right away, but the marks gradually faded.

And now, two months after the procedure, my chin skin has become clear overall.

When I touch my face while washing it, I can feel that the roughness has decreased and it has become much cleaner compared to before!!

 

 

 

At first, I wondered if the laser treatment would really be effective with only 50 shots?

I did it, and yes, it's there!!

However, in my personal opinion, one or two sessions aren't enough; you need to take three to see results.

I've had chin pigmentation for several years, so I think I saw quick results in just 3 sessions.

After receiving it firsthand, seeing improvements in areas that couldn't be resolved through self-care

I came to understand why people choose this procedure!!

 

And the thing I liked best at JD Dermatology was

The director didn't force me to buy anything or tell me to try this or that.

They didn't recommend any other aesthetic treatments either.

The best part was that they performed the procedure exactly to meet the customer's needs.

They said the laser effect lasts for 1 to 2 years.

I really hope the effect lasts a long time.
