My daughter, who entered university this year, is starting braces again, so I took her there. Her teeth were so pretty when she was a baby, but they became all over the place once she started grinding them. She underwent slow, no-extraction orthodontic treatment from first grade through her first year of high school, and it finally finished. However, now that she has grown up, it seems they look a bit protruding. Since we went through the trouble of it all, we decided to endure two more years and had four teeth extracted before starting the treatment again. Seeing them again after such a long time felt as delightful as meeting a relative after years.
