I visited the hospital and consulted with Director Kim Kyung-chul regarding my child's insomnia and unexplained headaches. The director wanted to understand my child's condition based on an EEG test, so he performed one. The helmet-type device was quite heavy, and perhaps due to my child's anxiety, the EEG test itself proved challenging. However, the doctor in charge was very reassuring and helpful, and I was able to complete the test in just seven minutes. I received the results about 10 minutes later. After seeing the director again, he reviewed the results and recommended transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and photodynamic therapy (PBM). Unlike adults, there was a helmet-type device for children, so we chose that. Perhaps because of my experience with EEG tests, my child completed the test without major resistance. I hope to see improvement and plan to continue using it.
