I've suffered so much from rhinitis that I've never slept day or night without my mouth shut. After over 40 years of incredibly difficult living, I found this hospital. My previous ENT clinic didn't explain why I needed nasal irrigation, why I needed immunotherapy, or what the benefits of nasal irrigation and immunotherapy were.
But what was really great was that they taught me how to do a nasal wash and encouraged me that I could do it well. It was really comfortable and nice. I've been doing rice immunotherapy for 10 months now. My nose would swell up so much during the seasonal changes that it was really uncomfortable, but now that I can breathe through my nose instead of my mouth, it's so comfortable that I think I can live. Nasal wash is a must on days with a lot of fine dust.
