Seoul Myeongdong Wellness Internal Medicine Clinic National Health Screening Review

 

This is a review of a detailed health checkup I received at Seoul Myeongdong Wellness Internal Medicine Clinic.

It is also called a wellness center or a wellness internal medicine clinic.

Because it is an internal medicine clinic specializing in health checkups, the hospital is very large.

The clinic is open until quite late.

 

The location is right across from the Myeongdong Lotte Department Store and is in the Apple Store building, so there was no difficulty finding it.

Just take the elevator and get off on the 7th floor.

 

I was surprised at how big and clean the hospital was.

Maybe because it was Myeongdong, there were a lot of autographs of celebrities.

This photo was taken when there was no one in the space, but there were really a lot of people in the hospital.

 

The facilities were so nice. This is a women's lounge, but I thought it was a beauty salon.

 

The restrooms are well-maintained, like those in shopping malls.

Certainly, I feel more comfortable in a clean facility than in an outdated one.

 

I was particularly surprised to find gowns available in various sizes for changing into before the examination. Hospital gowns are usually one-size-fits-all and baggy. Instructions on how to wear the gowns were also provided in great detail.

 

It was my first health checkup so I was really nervous, but just like my friend recommended, the staff were really kind.

If you had been rude, I would have been more nervous, but thanks to your kindness, I felt comfortable.

All the staff spoke softly and kindly, so I got the feeling that they put a lot of effort into providing service.

 

For the basic physical examination, we measure blood pressure, height and weight, InBody, and do hearing test, vision test, X-ray, blood test, etc.

I had the endoscopy while I was asleep, and I was surprised at how quickly it was over!

The anesthesia took effect in just a second, and when I closed my eyes and opened them again, it was already over.

There was no pain or discomfort at all. Instead, when I said I felt a little dizzy afterward, they told me to rest in a private room and guided me to a private bed!!

It was perfect all the way to the end. Thanks to that, I was able to take a short break and come out.

 

 

After all the health checkup items were tested, I went to the director's office and got an explanation right away.

Excluding the items that are not included in the examination on the day, we also provide consultations on the parts that can be viewed through video, as well as your general health status, family history, etc.

There was a bit of a wait, but after the checkup, the process went very smoothly.

The director explained everything meticulously, even asking me questions in return. He was very kind. He even assured me that there were no major issues, which put my worries at ease.

 

Finally, another thing that I was satisfied with!

Actually, I wanted to do it right after the checkup, but I heard that I need to make a reservation for this too, so I plan to go again when I have time next time.

The results came out two weeks later and I received them by email.

I waited with a lot of tension for no reason, but luckily, as the director said, there was nothing wrong.

And what I felt while getting a checkup this time is that you shouldn't get a checkup at the end of the year.

There are too many people... I'll definitely do it in the first half of the year before the fire breaks out on my feet in two years.

You know that you absolutely cannot drink, drive, smoke, or exercise on the day of the test!
