This is Ansan Obstetrics and Gynecology, which has been around for over 20 years, even since my middle school days.
It's a gynecology and obstetrics department with a truly long history!
Cursor is a hospital I used to visit frequently for treatment of vaginitis!
Today, I heard that a comprehensive health check-up is also available, so I went to get one^^
First
It is located right as you exit Exit 7 of Gil-eum Station.
As soon as I came out, the transportation was very convenient, so I liked it.
Ansan Obstetrics and Gynecology is a designated medical institution by the National Health Insurance Service, where you can receive general health checkups as well as cervical cancer screenings and breast cancer screenings! So it's very convenient~ You can get all your gynecological examinations done at once, haha.
Consultation hours
Monday to Friday 09:00-20:00 (Break time: 13:00-14:00)
Saturday 09:00-14:00
It's good because I can finish by 8 o'clock on weekdays and leave work.
I found online that it is possible to make a reservation through KakaoTalk.
So when I inquired, I was told that you can't get the health checkup from the corporation anytime you want, and you need to call in advance to check if the desired date is available.
So I inquired by phone.
When I called and mentioned that I wanted a comprehensive check-up, they said I could also do breast and thyroid ultrasounds together, but only on Mondays and Thursdays.
And they also asked if I had ever had a test before. Since I mentioned there was a small cyst in my breast, they said it would be better to bring the test results with me.
I fasted from the evening before because blood tests were included the day before the check-up.
It looks old from the outside of the building, but it seems to have been recently remodeled indoors. I haven't been here recently, but after the remodeling, it looks very clean and nice.
Ansan Obstetrics and Gynecology has various centers and examination rooms on the 2nd floor, the Industrial Health Checkup Center on the 3rd floor, and inpatient rooms and staff cafeteria on the 5th and 6th floors!
I came to the third floor for a health checkup.
As you can see in the picture, the atmosphere is really nice. It was cozy and comfortable!! I really liked that.
Before the ultrasound, I gave the counselor the health checkup results from last year that I mentioned during the pre-registration, and they said they would return it to me later.
The ultrasound took about 15 minutes! And the rest of the check-up was finished quickly as well.
The physical examination, including vision, blood tests, and height, was as smooth as at other health checkup centers!
The radiology room only felt a bit old-fashioned, haha. It seems like only this part was less remodeled.
After the tests and receiving the medical results, they said that the lump in the breast is fortunate because the number hasn't increased and it hasn't grown larger, so it's okay. They mentioned that a follow-up examination can be done in six months.
Last year, you carefully reviewed the test results and asked if there were any other discomforts, and it was better than expected.
And above all, it was very convenient because I could get both the obstetrics and gynecology checkup and the general health screening done at the same time!!
