Causes of fainting & reflex syncope symptoms - Cardiopulmonary resuscitation is essential.
I have had occasional experiences of fainting. I would like to talk about the causes, symptoms, and ways to overcome my fainting episodes. Although I have fainted occasionally, the cause was quite clear in my case. I have lived without experiencing fainting for a long time and have never experienced significant stress.
I experienced extreme stress due to my spouse's business failure. I am someone who has lived peacefully, so I had never faced issues related to debt before. However, I was hit with such intense stress that I felt like I was losing my mind in an instant.
All of the symptoms I experienced were signs of vasovagal syncope. I felt cold sweat and dizziness. My vision blurred, and my heart beat rapidly. These symptoms often appeared when I was under stress, but I never actually fainted. However, one day, I was overwhelmed with stress due to people coming to my house demanding payment, followed by persistent phone calls, and in the afternoon, large legal documents arriving from the court.
My body was trembling, and suddenly I started sweating profusely, feeling dizzy, and I fainted. This kind of situation is called reflex syncope caused by stress. I was hospitalized and forced to rest for a few days, but since I had never experienced stress related to such debt, it must have led to extreme physical pain.
The most common cause of fainting is reflex syncope like mine, but there are also orthostatic hypotension and cardiac syncope. Additionally, hypoglycemia and cerebrovascular diseases can also be causes. When you witness someone fainting nearby and they are unconscious and unstable, you should call 119 first and perform CPR.
If you experience fainting, it is best not to try to diagnose yourself but to visit a medical institution for accurate tests and diagnosis, and it is important to improve the underlying causes.
We recommend that you always receive CPR training regularly and suggest that you learn the correct methods, even briefly through YouTube.
