Can cataracts recur?

My mother-in-law was diagnosed with cataracts in her 50s and underwent surgery on both eyes.

This year, I am 85 years old, and lately, my vision has been gradually becoming blurry. I also have diabetes and high blood pressure, so I am more worried.

Both sides have undergone surgery, but can cataracts also recur?
