Has anyone experienced hyperpigmentation after laser treatment?

I want to get laser treatment at a dermatology clinic for blemishes, freckles, and enlarged pores, but my biggest concern is hyperpigmentation.

Looking at the reviews, there are many people who say their skin became clearer, but conversely, I also frequently see posts from those who suffered because the marks actually became darker or discolored brown after the procedure.

My skin is particularly sensitive, so I can't easily make a decision because I'm worried that getting the procedure might just cause me more stress.
