I really hate the scars from squeezing pimples.

I had something that looked like small pimples on my cheek. To be precise, it was a bit bigger and firmer than typical milia, but you know that type of acne that isn't fully ripe. At first, I left it alone, but even after applying acne-soothing cream for a month, it didn't get bigger or go down. In fact, it felt like there was something inside. So, I eventually squeezed it, but I must have squeezed it too hard because it left a scar. I'm currently applying a regenerative ointment, but I think it will still leave a scar. Is going to a dermatologist the only solution? Will it be very expensive?
