How often do you usually get eye health checkups after vision correction surgery?

I have neglected my care for a while since having LASIK surgery. Although I don't really have any pain, I am planning to start getting checkups to prevent presbyopia or complications. I am wondering if people usually go every six months or a year, or if it is better to get regular monthly checkups even if there are no particular issues.
