Is laser treatment the best way to remove melasma?
Melasma first started appearing on one side of my cheekbone after I got a pimple.
As two pimples started to heal, they left behind something resembling hyperpigmentation on my cheekbones, but at some point, I noticed the two marks had merged and turned into something like a large melasma.
Actually, since the rest of my body is relatively clean, I thought I just needed to take care of that one spot. However, before I knew it, I noticed patchy discoloration appearing on the opposite cheekbone and the cheek area where dimples typically form, so I've been incredibly stressed about it lately.
I want to be treated with a sure-fire, painless method rather than focusing on the cost. Is laser treatment the fastest way to see results?
There weren't many proper reviews for things like creams, so I wasn't sure if they actually worked or how long I needed to apply them to see results.
I'm worried that laser procedures might be painful. For those of you who have had the procedure, what was it like?
I'm curious
