Can skin depressions caused by acne extraction be treated with a laser?

I had acne-free skin when I was a student, but I suffered from adult acne in my 20s.

I was so stressed because people kept talking about my acne whenever they saw me that I went to a dermatologist and had it extracted. After the extraction, I developed severe skin indentations and holes as a side effect.

No matter how much I try to cover it up with makeup, the sunken areas of my skin won't go away. You recommended laser treatment; will the sunken skin fill in?
