Should I continue treatment?

Last year, I went to the dentist for a scaling. In fact, I was worried because I hadn't had a scaling for several years, but since tartar had penetrated the gums, I received extensive scaling followed by gum treatment several times.

They say I should come back in six months for another scaling and that I will need gum treatment again.

I haven't had any particular tooth or gum pain so far. During my annual health checkup, the dental part also said there were no special problems.

I'm concerned about whether I should continue receiving this treatment since I tend to develop tartar easily but have no particular awareness of it.
