Has anyone experienced air flow scaling?

Maybe it's because I received scaling abroad in the past... I remember it bleeding a lot and being very painful. Of course, it was less painful the next time I had it done, but now that it's been several years since my last scaling, a lot of tartar has built up, and I'm worried it might bleed and hurt again like last time.ㅠ

I found out that combining this with an airflow procedure might make it less painful. Has anyone experienced this?

And I am curious about how often everyone gets scaling done.
