Root canal treatment

Has anyone had root canal treatment~~? I had a root canal when I was young, and it's been almost 10 years. I had it covered with a gold crown, but do I need to replace it every now and then?? I haven't been to the dentist for a check-up in a whileㅎㅎ.. There's nothing particularly painful or uncomfortable, but I sometimes worry if the inside is decayingㅎㅎ If you've had root canal treatment, please share how you manage it~!! It’s sad because once a tooth hurts and you go, it costs a lot of moneyㅠㅠ How do you usually take care of your teeth??
