Braces after orthodontic treatment

When you get braces, you have to wear them for several years.

Do you remove the braces after the correction period is over?

I heard that they don't remove that wire.

They say it will collapse again if I take it out... So should I wear it forever??

Isn't it better to completely remove it after the correction is finished??

I'm hesitant because it seems too uncomfortable if I don't remove it ㅠㅠ
